Sahibzada Muhayy-ud-Din Golarvi (Rehmat-Ullah-Alleh)
Babu Jee (Sahibzada) was not a political figure. He was a religious movement in himself. The person he glanced upon would certainly smell a revolution deep inside his own self. He was not a man of talks and conversations. He had an ancestral concern regarding the concept of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat. He had never joined any movement or attended any conference, however, he used to pray for this whether on journey or at home. In 1953, during the movement of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat a session was held for concord and unity of all religious scholars on the issue. This was the first time that he attended such a conference on the persistent request of the conveners. He was received with great respect and fervor. Syed Atta Ullah Shah Bokhari came a bit late and being unaware of Babu Jee's presence, sat on a chair in the front row. Someone said, Shah Jee! Hazrat Sahibzada Muhayy-ud-Din is sitting behind you. Shah Sahib turned to see and went to him at once, bowed down, touched his knees and said, “You have honored and graced with your visit. Praises to Almighty Allah, our success now is closer. His majesty (A’la Hazrat) is in front of me. We are bearing his flag.” Shah Jee requested for Dua’ (Prayer). Babu’ Jee prayed. It was Babu Jee’s generosity and blessing that various Muslim schools of thought, who had never come together due to petty differences, joined hands against Qadiyaniat during Tahaffaz-e-Khatm-e-Nubuwwat movement 1953.
It was the first occasion that Deobandis, Brailvis (Hanafi), Ahl-e-hadith and Shias, all unanimously put their weight against the Qadiyani intrigue.
Differences between Sahibzada Muhayy-ud-Din Golarvi and famous religious scholar Maulana Ghulam Ullah Khan of Rawalpindi were not hidden from anybody. Hazrat Peer of Golra openly declared,
For the sake of Tahaffaz-e-Khatm-e-Nubuwwat of the Holy Prophet (Sallallaho Alaihe Wassallam), I am ready to pick up and bear the shoes of Maulana Ghulam Ullah Khan
(May Allah bless them all).
